Online Platforms Reaction Countless users and merchants are posting online saying Vinted listings now show a different size category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification. Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces. It has advised users to examine their items and update the measurements by hand if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction. Sizing System Updates Earlier, the sizing featured one number and one letter, such as S/8 or M/10. The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10. With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18. Shopper Stories Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder". "Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. Stephanie Gallen, located in Scotland, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they will likely be quite upset," she said.
